Graduation Ceremonies for Boonshoft School of Medicine's Class of 2008

Gregory J. Toussaint, M.D., was presented with the Teaching Excellence Award by the Boonshoft School of Medicine's Class of 2008. Awards were presented during the graduation ceremony held May 30, at the Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Centerin Dayton.

Bryan Jewell, M.D.

Bryan Jewell received the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine award at WSU's Boonshoft School of Medicine graduation for his "consistency in demon-strating compassion and empathy in the delivery of health care to patients and their families."

Ninety-two graduating medical students and their families and friends celebrated the end of four years of intense study and learning, volunteering and research at Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine graduation ceremony.

Kavi Kuchipudi, M.D.

Kavi Kuchipudi, '08, received the Dean's Award from Howard Part, M.D., during the gradu-ation ceremonies at the Boonshoft School of Medicine.

Sherman Alter, M.D.

Sherman Alter, M.D., was presented with the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine award for a faculty member by the Class of 2008.

Roger Pacholka, M.D.

In recognition of his humanitarian efforts, Roger Pacholka, M.D. ('85) was nominated by the entire student body of Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and was selected as a distinguished finalist for the annual Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Humanism in Medicine Award.
