Blackburn appointed assistant professor
at Wright State School of Medicine
DAYTON, OHIO -- Jeffery B. Blackburn, M.D. will be joining the medical practice at the Yellow Springs Family Health Center of Wright State University School of Medicine, August 15, 1997. The health center is located at 1001 Xenia Avenue in Yellow Springs.
Blackburn also has been appointed assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Wright State University School of Medicine. He comes to the position from Community Hospital in Springfield, OH, where he is vice president of medical staff, a member of the executive and credentials committees, and a physician in the family practice department.
A native of Lafayette, Indiana, Blackburn received a B.S. degree from Purdue University and an M.D. degree from Indiana University. He completed his training in a rotating internship at Community Hospital in Springfield, OH. He has had a practice in adult internal medicine since 1970 and has been an associate clinical professor at Wright State University School of Medicine since 1980. Blackburn is certified in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Practice.
