The hand resident is responsible for all hand cases in the ER, private and staff. Surgery days are flexible; if there are other more interesting hand cases elsewhere, ask the attending if it is okay to scrub in on those instead. It is the responsibility of the hand resident to find interesting cases to scrub in on Thursdays during the six weeks with Dr. Barre.

Office days are mandatory.
