Get involved! |

Free time isn’t
one of the chief burdens most medical students have to bear, but when you do
have a spare moment, you can look forward to the chance to get involved with any
of more than 30 student organizations. Many groups focus on academics,
exploring research opportunities or one of 10 medical specialties, for example.
Others are dedicated to service and outreach, including volunteer work helping
patients in Dayton or around the world. Some groups encourage members to think
about something besides medicine for a change, including sports, socialization,
or other interests. We even offer a group for students’ spouses, who may have
an easier time fitting meetings into their schedules!
