Teaching Hospitals
Seven teaching hospitals prepare you for the real world of medicine |
|
As a community-based medical school, Wright State is
affiliated with seven major teaching hospitals and more than 20 additional
health care institutions in the Greater Dayton area. During your first two
years, you will spend most of your time in the new, state-of-the-art medical
education center in White Hall on the Wright State campus. Your final two years
will include clerkships in a number of medical specialties and a wide variety
of clinical experiences within our affiliates.
The real-world advantage
This model will expose you to a diverse range of patients,
practices, and facilities, providing invaluable "real world"
experience to prepare you for a successful career in a rapidly changing health
care system. As a graduate of Wright State, you will enter the field of
medicine with a distinct advantage over those with less varied training, and
your skills, confidence, and experience will serve you exceptionally well as a
resident, fellow, and practicing physician.
