Finding a Place to Live
The Dayton area is a great place to call home
Whether you’re on your own or have a family, plan to rent or buy, want a city or suburban setting, have something specific in mind or just need a decent place for a good price, you can find it here. After all, you may be spending a lot of time on campus or at clinical sites while you’re here, but when you do head home, it helps to live somewhere just right for your needs.
The Dayton area ranks as the second most affordable among metropolitan statistical areas with a population of 500,000 or more, according to the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Opportunity Index. In 2011, more than 90 percent of the homes in the Dayton area were affordable to families making the median income of $63,300, according to the NAHB.

This area is accessible only to current WSU medical students and members of the incoming Class of 2017. To access the following pages, you will need to use your WSU user name and password. If you don't remember them, contact Debbie McNeely, in the Office of Student Affairs and Admissions.
