Tynese Anderson, MD

Tynese Anderson, M.D.

Dr. Anderson was born in Gary, Indiana. She attended Indiana University Bloomington where she completed a BA degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry, Social Science and Medicine. She received her MD from Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Anderson's medical interests include Primary Care and Adolescent Medicine. She enjoys You Tube (for entertainment and educational purposes), playing with her pet cat named Bruce Bruce, going to the movies and enjoying life with family and friends.

Achint Choksy, MD

Achint Choksy, M.D.

Dr. Choksy was born in India and migrated to the US at the age of 12. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and received his MD from Avalon University School of Medicine. Dr. Choksy’s medical interest is Sports Medicine. He enjoys basketball, singing and hanging out with family and friends.

Andrea Dillon, MD

Andrea Dillon, M.D., MPH

Dr. Dillon is a Dayton native. She attended Manchester College in Indiana where she received a BS in Chemistry. She went on to earn a Masters in Public Health and her MD from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Dr. Dillon’s interests include travel, cooking, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Elizabeth Downing, MD

Elizabeth Downing, D.O.

Dr. Elizabeth Downing was born and raised in Janesville, Wisconsin. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Carleton College in Northfield MN, she completed her Doctor of Osteopathy degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. In her spare time, Dr. Downing enjoys drawing and has had her artwork on display at Stauf's in Columbus OH. She also loves being active and frequently can be found swimming, spinning, or dancing.

Reena Enaker, MD

Reena Enaker, M.D.

Dr. Enaker grew up in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. She attended the University of Kentucky, majoring in Agricultural Biotechnology. She received her MD degree from Ross University. In her free time she enjoys traveling, watching movies and she loves college sports! She has an English Bulldog named LoLa that she adores. Dr. Enaker’s career interests include Sports and Emergency Medicine.

Zia Khan, MD

Zia Khan, M.D., MPH

Dr. Zia Khan was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. After receiving his Bachelor’s and M.S. degrees from the George Washington University, he completed a Master of Public Health degree from the Northwest Ohio Consortium of Public Health before graduating from Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine. His medical interests are Sports Medicine and Rural Health. In his spare time, Dr. Khan enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, and watching foreign films.

Rashi Patel, MD

Rashi Patel, M.D.

Dr. Patel was born in Detroit, Michigan but has been living in Lakeland, Florida for the past 17 years. Dr. Patel attended the University of Florida for undergrad and American University of Antigua for medical school. Her interests include all sports, playing the piano, trying new types of food and watching movies. Her medical interests are Sports and Emergency Medicine.

Pradeep Raju, M.D.

Pradeep Raju, MD

Dr. Raju grew up in Chicago and received his undergraduate degree from DePaul University.  Later, he attended Xavier University School of Medicine where he received his MD degree. Dr. Raju is a die-hard Chicago sports fan and has continued to have his fingers crossed that the Cubs will win the World Series in his lifetime. His medical interests include Primary Care and Sports Medicine.

Omar Siddiqi, MD

Omar Siddiqi, MD

Dr. Siddiqi was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada. He attended the University of Ottawa and graduated with a degree in Biochemistry. He received his MD from the Medical University of the Americas. Being from Canada, he played hockey growing up and is a HUGE HOCKEY fan with his favorite team being the Ottawa Senators. He has lived in Dayton for the past four years. Dr. Siddiqi met his wife while doing a 2-year Clerkship in Chicago. He is very close to his family and loves to travel, workout, play/watch all sports (especially hockey), and cook and watch movies.

Nicole Turkson, MD

Nicole Turkson, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Turkson was born in Ghana and grew up in Germany and the United States. She received her B.A in Biology from the College of Wooster. She then earned a Master of Science in Marine Science at the University of South Florida and a Ph.D. in Oceanography at UCSD’s Scripps Institution of Oceanography, where she studied marine natural products chemistry and drug discovery. Following this, she attended Wright State University’s  Boonshoft School of Medicine, where she earned her M.D. Dr. Turkson loves the outdoors and spends her free time hiking and trail running. Other beloved pastimes are traveling, writing historical fiction and spending time with family and friends.

Adam Welch, MD

Adam Welch, MD

Dr. Adam Welch grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Miami University of Ohio where he graduated with a BA in Zoology and Neuroscience. Dr. Welch received his MD from the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine. His greatest passions include traveling, flying, boating and several other outdoor activities.

Angela Amato, D.O.

Angela Amato, D.O.

Dr. Amato was raised in upstate New York. She received her B.S in Biology from Towson University and her Doctor of Osteopathic from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. Her medical interest is Women’s Health. Dr. Amato enjoys traveling and spending time with her two dogs.

Karuna Anantharaman, M.D.

Although Dr. Anantharaman does not think her growing up is done yet, she grew up in India and then moved to Indiana. She attended the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!) where she received her B.S. degree in Science Pre-Professional.  She received her M.D. from Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Anantharaman’s medical interests include Adolescent Medicine and Psychiatry in Primary Care. She enjoys hiking, art house films, cooking and eating, the gentleman is game of cricket and baby pandas. She is enjoying life, living vicariously through her colleagues’ children and waiting for the next cricket World Cup to see if India can dominate again.

Baldwin, MD

Peter Baldwin, M.D., MPH

Dr. Baldwin grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He graduated from Butler University with a BS in Chemistry and was a member of the first class to graduate from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He completed a Transitional Internship at Michigan State University - Kalamazoo Center for Medical studies, now Western Michigan University School of Medicine, before practicing and managing a clinic for a few years in New Mexico. Not wanting to be away from the classroom for too long, Dr. Baldwin also holds an MBA from Texas Tech University and an MPH in Healthcare Management and Policy from University of Michigan. He is also residency trained in Aerospace Medicine. Outside of his residency responsibilities, Dr. Baldwin serves as the editor for a medical society newsletter and is a member of the Alumni Advisory Board for the Department of Healthcare Management and Policy at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. His medical interests include aerospace and occupational medicine as well as healthcare policy and management. In his free time, Dr. Baldwin likes to watch and play sports, especially basketball and spend time with his family.

Meaghan Ebetino, MD, MPH

Meaghan Ebetino, M.D., MPH

Dr. Ebetino was born in Rochester, New York and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio with her family when she was 6 years old. She attended The Ohio State University for her undergraduate education and studied Molecular Genetics and Spanish.  She received her M.D. and M.P.H. from Wright State University in the 5-year dual degree program. Dr. Ebetino now considers herself to be a Daytonian and enjoys getting involved in her Dayton urban neighborhood, South Park, where she had a minor acting role in her neighborhood's Shakespeare in the Park play Romeo and Juliet. She is interested in traveling to Latin American countries. She most recently did two medical school global health rotations, spending one month in Bolivia and another month in Guatemala. She also enjoys outdoor activities, especially hiking and skiing, exercising, and hosting get-togethers.

Dr. Ilyas is a native of Anderson, Indiana. She attended Indiana University-Bloomington where she obtained her B.A. in English. She graduated with her M.D. from Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Ilyas enjoys playing the guitar and piano, singing, catching up with friends and spending time with family. She has two cats: Mr. Kitty and Marble Rye.

Dr. McElrath grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her undergraduate years were spent at Xavier university of Louisiana in New Orleans where she majored in Chemistry and minored in Biology and Creative Writing graduating in 2009. She completed her M.D. at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Her medical interests include teen pregnancy and sexual education. She enjoys fiction writing, reading and watching movies. She is currently spending time training her cocker spaniel puppy.

Dr. Nyholm grew up in Flat Rock, Michigan. He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Indiana Institute of Technology in 2002. He was a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force until attending Georgetown University where he earned a M.S. in Physiology and Biophysics in 2009. He graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2013. His medical interests include Primary Care and Sports Medicine. He enjoys spending time with his wife and son, traveling and soccer.

Kyle Ott, M.D.

Kyle Ott, M.D.

Dr. Ott grew up in the Dayton area, imparting much sweat and blood in the local wrestling rooms and as a frequent patient at the region’s hospital ORs. His collegiate journey as a BIG TEN student-athlete for the University of Illinois included a B.S. degree in Kinesiology while becoming a two-time NCAA Runner-Up wrestler for the Fighting Illini, amongst other accolades. Dr. Ott was later hired as Assistant Wrestling Coach at West Virginia University. His M.D. training was completed at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine with interests in Family and Sports Medicine. Proud of his roots, Dr. Ott is excited to advance his training where he calls home. Personally, he enjoys time with family, passing forward wrestling expertise to youth-collegiate grapplers, functional strength training, and the occasional chocolate-chip cookie.

Saba Qureshi, M.D.

Saba Qureshi, M.D.

Dr. Qureshi grew up in Dayton where she attended Wright State University receiving her B.S. in Biological Sciences and her M.D. from the Boonshoft School of Medicine. She has a strong interest in Preventive Medicine. She is an Adrenalin junkie who enjoys zip lining, skydiving and whitewater rafting. On the calmer side she enjoys baking. Dr. Qureshi is married and has a daughter.

Erin Bates, M.D.

Erin Bates, M.D.

Dr. Erin Bates was born and raised in a small town called Kenton, OH. She attended Miami University (Love and Honor!) in Oxford, OH and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology. She received her MD from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. She has a strong interest in Preventative Medicine and Women’s Health. She has spent time doing medical missions in India and hopes to work internationally in the future. She met the love of her life during medical school orientation and they married in 2012. He is a general surgery resident at Wright State. They have an adorable son. Dr. Bates enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying new recipes and being outdoors.

Dr. Bellanco grew up in New Philadelphia, OH and then Wooster, OH. He played football and ran track for Ashland University in Ashland, OH where he set the school record for most passes caught in a single season (71). At Ashland, he majored in mathematics and biochemistry and met his lovely wife. He moved to Dayton in 2010 for medical school at WSU where he received his MD in 2014. He and his wife love to go biking, hiking, travel, and love spending time with their church family. Nick enjoys all things sports including football, basketball, baseball, golf, and tennis.

Dr. Aaron Block is a native Ohioan who has returned from a 6-year stay in the sunny state of Florida. He grew up in a few places around the Midwest with most of his time in Pittsburgh. Dr. Block earned his undergraduate degree in biology and physical anthropology from The Ohio State University in 2008, and later obtained his dual degree MD-MPH at the University of South Florida in Tampa in 2014. Dr. Block’s medical interests include wellness, sports medicine, outpatient procedures, and wound care. He and his husband have purchased a house in Kettering and are excited to get to know Dayton. They love cooking and food, exploring the outdoors, watching movies, and traveling whenever they get the chance.

Coming from the land of "First in Flight", Dr. Farrag is a Tar Heel born and raised in North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for both medical school and her undergraduate education. Dr. Farrag has a wide variety of medical interests and loves to learn across all specialties. She enjoys reading, working out, and is excited about continuing flying lessons in the "Birthplace of Aviation".

Dr. Ariana Herbert grew up outside of Cleveland, Ohio in Macedonia.  She attended Miami University where she earned her BA in Gerontology in 2007. She attended medical school at The Ohio State University earning her medical degree in 2014. Dr. Herbert’s medical interests include geriatrics and women’s health. She loves to travel, visit with family and watch movies.

Dr. Paul Krebs was born in Dayton and attended Alter High School. He received his bachelor's degree in Zoology from Miami University where he ran Cross Country and Track and Field. He received his MD in 2014 from Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine. His medical interests include adolescent and sports medicine. Dr. Krebs is an avid runner, and also enjoys all sports, coaching, and being involved in the community.

Alyssa Santos, M.D.

Dr. Alyssa Santos grew up in Lake Stevens, Washington. She earned her BA degree in Spanish from the University of Washington graduating with honors in 2008. Dr. Santos earned her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2013. She likes to travel, spend time with family, do artistic activities (paint, draw, sew, refurbish antiques) and help rescue animals.

Jessica Woznick, M.D.

Dr. Jessica Woznick was born and raised in the mountains of Colorado, near Denver, and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she received her BA in Integrative Physiology. She graduated with her MD from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2014. Dr. Woznick met her husband in medical school and together they have three dogs: two Jack Russell Terriers and a Doberman Pincher. With a passion for the outdoors, she loves all things, hiking, climbing and river rafting and has a variety of interests from playing sports, namely soccer, volleyball and basketball, to singing, guitar and piano playing badly, to movies (all but horror) and television.
